This past week i have attended a tsa (tamil student association) meeting, where i had the chance to meet many tamils who go to ryerson for different programs. Tamil students can go to events and have a chance to meet more people of the same culture. They host formals and dances but also connect you with other tamil students in other universities across ontario. This club will help me build a network of people of the culture. Although it may only be one culture it will help me make connections to the student in many different universities whether its students in the university of toronto, waterloo or mcmaster. Their events help bring people closer together to make new friends outside of your existing program. Since i am a business student i do not associate with many engineering students or arts students. This club will help me build more connections for my future with students in these departments.
