Discuss some of the advantages and disadvantages that self-driving cars could bring to the society. I believe just like any other investment made by humans, everything has its pros and cons. While this is good news overall, texting while driving has become more dangerous than driving under the influence as years go by. Stats show that 330,000 injuries are caused due to texting and driving. Self driving cars is an innovation which should cease these events from ever happening overall but with this invention there would be huge job loss. Taxi companies and uber will have a hard time dealing with phenomena and will eventually have to fire their own employees to adapt to this change. Soon there will be self driving trucks since it costs less and also self driving tractors and harvesters resulting in job loss for farmers and truck drivers. Another thing self driving vehicles will cause is peoples safety and less people will die every year.
