*** need to be able to define what objectivist vs. constructionist, And positivism vs interpretivismas well as deductive vs. inductive. Space where researchers can keep track of their questions and findings. Used to think about how you are going to present your findings and such. Two submission dates each worth 15% both together will be 30% of final grade. Can be referenced in any format however format must remain the same all throughout. A framework that includes collecting and analyzing data. Has own rules to help go through data: objectives, hypothesis, methods, conduct, synthesis. As a researcher you need to decide your audience a specific population or a general population. Get at causes and effects to come up with a generalized law about what happens. Want to come from our study and be able to apply it to the general population to make a law of social interaction. Very difficult because you must make it work for all social behaviours.
