Negotiations between employers and employee unions plays an important role instructuring society. We have the perception that unions give employees a lot of power. Employees must see if they can accept the offers of management then the union must consider if they can afford to meet the employees demands, profitability. Union must build diverse membership which results in a lot of compromises. Employees accept the imbalance because functioning economy is critical to society integration of global economy social inequality. Whin, the wrestler symbolizes many things of social inequality. Meritocracy- a hierarchical ranking and reward system in which someones demonstrated performance determines where they will end up in the hierarchy and the ones at the top are more rewarded than the ones at the bottom. Achievemnet rather than inheritant advantages such as gender. Social arrangement should allow individuals to persue their wants and interest freely through their talents and skills.
