Safety: drives like sleep and fear that moivate us to replenish our bodies and avoid danger. Reproducive: sexual, maternal, and sexual jealousy drives that moivate us to reproduce, care for our young, and guard our mates. Social: approval and acceptance drives that moivate us to cooperate. Educaive: play and exploraion, which moivate us to pracice our skills and learn about our environments. Reinforced by the pleasure we experience once the reward has been obtained. Reward system evolved to reinforce behaviours that result in a reducion in drive.
