Often no aware of what culture we are embedded in; passed along from one generation to the next, it is a given and we don"t tent to reflect critically on it. Two types of arguments, historically: innate traits. Less rational and capable than men, and are therefore not equally suited for political life. Vestiges of this in pop culture today. Exclusion based on place is in the home. Recordings of history; public and private spheres.
