Notion of equality and rights in pursuit of happiness. Affiliated with social democracy democracy red tory politics. Affiliated more recently with neo-liberalism in neo-conservative politics. Human nature is intricate and far more complex than how liberalism describes it and therefore there is no such thing as one common human nature. Conservatism focuses more on continually evolving human habits, customs, traditions and prejudices, as they suggest that such factors are the basis for stability. The importance of order and stability; humans need order and stability in order to enjoy there lives. Conservatism does not believe in the grass is greener mentality that liberalism promotes.
