Hbv and hcv infects liver cells and can cause liver failure. Ebv infects b cells and limits their ability to expand and prod abs, and can make them cancer cells. In cases of hiv, start having other viruses show up as well. Cancer cells able to express specific type of antigens that immune may recognize.
