We need a scientific way to deal with people"s harmful pleasures. Real pleasure vs false pleasure: enlightened self interest, in the end, you must recognize that crime does not pay, you must consider the consequences and how they would outweigh the pleasure. Did not believe that individuals as a mass could not understand their interests. We nee someone to show us what is enlightenment and what is not. If you are caught doing a crime, the pain/punishment should be so great that it outweighs all pleasure.
