Intersectionality is based on the study of oppression, based on the idea that the acknowledging of oppression is too often based in gender over other aspects of identity. Using the acceptance of queer bodies and identities as a tool of exemplifying a liberal political structure, the way of making a nation look better for associating gay identities with nationalist identities while not always actually being better. The idea that the body takes too much weight in theory, we need to think differently about how bodies influence theory. All the things we are stuck in could be altered if giving less credit to bodies. Uses phrases telling of his admiration four times throughout the apology.
