Well many societies have tried to ask this question for many years . Is devs about making the world a better place to live in? ways you can get from a-b and c-d, but devs is about the process in which you can take to get there. In academic terms devs is mainly a post ww2 project. Development: the act or process of developing; growth; progress. Case study: diarrhea- thousands of kids die annually because of something so treatable. 1. 7 billion cases of death a year, and all can be solved with simple materials such as toilets, yet it is so hard to implement due to vast cultural differences that occur across a variety of countries. Also a cultural difference: in the case of india it"s the untouchables who have to clean public defecation- the indian gov is trying to make it illegal but culturally its acceptable.
