Colonialism and imperialism (2. 1: colonialism tends to refer to the permanent establishment of european oversees full or partial political control over another country, occupying it with settlers, and exploiting it economically. It drew out resources of the world to europe to enrich that part of the world. Labour, primary resources, taxes: deprived indigenous people all over the world of any possibility of self determination. It placed much of the world under the economic political yoke of europe: colonialism and imperialism allowed europe to export its excess population and use foreign cheap or free labour to extract resources that enriched european cities. Second exile they entered was in europe when they faced religiously inspired anti semitism and did them damage for 2000 years. The holocaust: happened in germany and was one of the greatest crimes in history, 5 to 7 million jews were killed, a considerable diasporic spread, the creation of israel (1948)
