Materials management: element in integrated waste management, goal: zero waste know as industrial ecology, minimize resources extracted and waste generated. Solid waste - sanitary landfills: potential hazards, leachate entering the water system, the concentration of pollutants in leachate is much higher than in raw sewage, uncontrolled production of methane gas.
