Functional structure: organizes around departments (marketing, hr, manufacturing, finance, etc. ) Gm has very important job, everyone reports to him. Each unit is focused on each specific type of customer. More concentrated and specialized on products and services applicable to each customer base. Divisional structure: structure around product lines, organizes around divisions (health and medical, small appliances, etc. ) Geographic structure: organizes geographically, this may be the result of moving from national to international player.
