Just as in the paintings of hercules and omphale so too did cleopatra disarm antony he forgot his duties and only wanted to spend time with her. Eastern queen has taken charge/control: has dominant position position of a hero. Great hero (antony/hercules) reduced to role of a woman in her presence. Not a good look for a roman to have: antony not helping issuing coins with both him and cleopatra, antony and cleopatra.
