Lined up on the road leading up to the theatre. The greek theatre: orchestra, stage, parodoi, altar, skene, seating, chorus at the orchestra, played music, but they could dance. So performances took place during the day: theatre of athens = theatre of dionysos eleutherios, at the foot of the acropolis. Actors: maximum 3 actors on stage, even earlier there were less. If there we more characters than actors, they played multiple.
