1000s of them were extincted on the plane becasuse we destroyed their habitat. Green area (know extinctions): thousand times faster than fossil record. 2008 or earlier: dramatic drops in population. Brazil did good jobs for conservation : already took a lot of forest though , still few species there well there has not been enough time. Pesticides are the other issues especially on water and lake side, affecting vertebrates, insects such as bees are affected. Affects our lives , even homo sapiens in near future , even affecting the other species, Part of the problems is us, inner self what defines who we are what we do care about i. Affluence : rate of consupmption because of technology and money and access to a lot of affluence. Technology itself can be bad for environment even though it provides huge affluence though. 3 components (population, affluence, technology) can be varied on depends on countries.
