Mitochondria is going to make a lot of atp and increase ability to sustain muscle contraction. Disuse atrophy haven"t lost cells, but lost protein in those cells (eg when you break your arm) Astronaut up in space for a long period of time, couldn"t walk when he came back down because his muscles had atrophy. Sof contains myosin, relatively low atpase activity, contain numerous mitochondria, for endurance. Myoglobin protein in muscles that carry oxygen, myoglobin give the colour to these muscles red meat (chicken legs) endurance. Fof high atpase activity, using op, like a rattle snake tail.
