Ankle joint is between the leg and foot. Pelvic girdle pelvic bone, hip bone, innominate bone, coxal bone, there are many names. Comprised of 2 bones left and right pelvic bone. Joined anteriorly by pubic symphysis, a cartilaginous joint where not much movement happens but there is a tiny bit of flexibility. Joined posteriorly, attach to the sacrum makes the sacro-iliac joint, strong joint where little flexibility occurs. Originates as 3 individual bones which fuse at the acetabulum:
