A treaty that says they wont "trade" any endangered species within that country. > iucn: organization that determines whether or not a species is protected is the iucn. Keeps a list called the "iucn red list" all endangered species. Stands for international union for conservation of nature. Dependant on the government, they are able to choose what species they would like to protect. Threatened reasons hippco-> can"t talk about either of these in isolation, each and every one is affected by another.
