Personal health and coping skills: slurred words, (thinking about drinking) Spirituality: are they confused in the sense they are distressed. Inability to be cognizant of 1 or more of: Physical environment?-clutter free, let them know where thing are, where they can get help. Keep the bed low, keep the call bell at reach, simplify the environment, anticipate when they need to go to the bathroom. Talk with the patient to calm them down.
