Dualism: dualism separates our being into the mind and the body, early philosophers like plato looked into the problem of whether humans are spirit or body. Humanism: classical scholars identify ancient greeks with philosophy of humanism, humanism is a system of human conduct among members of society, plato"s works displayed the mind over the body, for the following reasons: The mind or soul is eternal, while body is temporary . To become like god, is to become holy, just, and wise . Mind: plato believed that the masses should be ruled by philosopher kings, philosopher kings had wisdom as result of proper educations.
