The city of calgary is well equipped to host the 2026 olympic and paralympic games from a transportation standpoint. Calgary transit offers a vast array of bus routes and train lines to get across the city effectively. Existing c-train lines provide easy access to facilities like. The green line lrt project will provide an additional c-train line to get across the city from north to southeast calgary. The green line project will be completed by 2024, well in time for the 2026 games. New bus routes are being developed by calgary transit to provide access to major destinations across the city with minimal stops. These new brt projects will provide fast and convenient transportation to and from anywhere in the city. Shuttle buses will be used to provide easy and direct access to facilities across the city. Shuttle buses will be used to transport people directly from the airport to a hotel, or a hotel to a facility.
