I found the theory as a net the most helpful because through that we can capture the phenomenon and understand, group and organize theories. When there are more theories for us to intertwine, we can capture the ideas in the net better. Theories are a set of systematic, informed hunches about the way things work. Another image that can be used to explain a theory is a mirror. Our view of ourselves comes from the observation of qualities and impressions of how others perceive us. Theory as net - capture the phenomenon and understand, group and organize theories. When there are more theories, we can capture the ideas in the net better. Theory as lens - focus our perceptions on the world, focus on one thing. They believe reality is accessed through our senses, sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. Through research scientist pool their findings and collectively agree on how the world works.
