Henry fox talbot-provided further development that permitted pictures to be reproduced/used negative recording and positive reproduction. Wet plates-reduce exposure time by a minute. Thaumatrope- disk with 2 different images are either side and when spun become one image. Zoetrope- introduced by william george corroner in 1834/when drum is spun you could view images. Phenakistoscope- invented by joseph plateau in 1832/series of disks with images are spun as you look through the holes. Athanasius kircher- describes an object that describes the magic lantern.
