90% of leaves are maternity, not paternity. Standard: women stayed home nad raised children, single woman at work not nearly paid as much as a man for doing the same work. Women considered to be less abled, less gifted, less qualified, less smart in all ways than a man could be. Many men today still hold these views; continue to think this is a gospel truth. Historically spesking, whenever women found jobs, they were tossed out of these jobs if jobs became scarce: men needed jobs. When jobs were scarce men took over jobs known as beneath men: clothing manufacturing conditions of the workplace improved women working in a factory: conditions were at their lowest. Work appropriate for women was never managed by women always supervised by males jobs weren"t highly skilled, so productivity wasn"t much different depending on the gender.
