Imaginary audience: the belief that others are as concerned with us as we are. Research: middle class parents are particularly eager to hurry their child"s success sometimes hoping that the children would achieve what they themselves fail to master a kind of vicarious success for the parent. Sleeper effect: the child gets a little older and then begins to rebel, as seen in the kids talk video when the boy says the adults should ease up. Alkin: school hurries children to see how well the institutions are doing in teaching children, 3 important ingredients in the school setting is the kid, the teacher and the length of time they spend together. Free floating anxiety: a child suffers under chronic stress begins to feel restless, irritable and the inability to concentrate.
