How individuals experience health, illness, disability & healthcare (some groups are more/less healthy than others, involves biological, social and environmental factors) Influence of social historical formations (macro) (time, place, type of society - Dictatorship) (e. g cuba has a better healthcare system than canada even though it is a dictatorship) Individuals social & subjective positioning"s (intersection of individuals personal and social characteristics, e. g class, gender, ethnicity shape individuals experiences & beliefs about health and illness)
