It looks at the situations and experiences of women. It tries to understand the standpoint/perspective of women: the development of feminist theory, the first wave of feminism. The first wave coincides with beginning of sociology. Weber died in 1920 the theoretical idea that comes to dominate sociology where developed by three white european men, marx, durkheim, weber during that time frame , the early feminist, where also working. They were overlooked, while the men were seen. Early feminist are now a part of classical theorists looked at struggle of women for political rights ( especially the right to vote) In some countries in 1920s women got to vote and that was the end point of the first wave: the temorary decliene of feminism.
