The abject female body , is seen as monstrous, alien and polluted. According to some scholars, women"s bodies" represent an ancient threat to culture and society. Menses( menstruation and menopause) a punishment from god. Women"s" bodies as threats as in 1930s=, western scientist believed menstruating women excluded menotoxins ( poisons) in blood, perspiration, saliva, urine and tears. Today, women"s menses remain stigmatized in popular culture as there as many more adverts for feminine hygiene products. The body was seen, metaphorically, as a system of dynamic interactions with its environment. Thus, females menstruated to rid their bodies of impurities. Ground differences between genders in biology grew out of the old ideas about the existing order of politics and society as laid down by the order of nature.
