Vedic -migratory people as they are moving, brahmanic- people once they have stopped migrating and have settled. Even though they form a continuum, in the classical period 500 b. c. e is the appearance of buddhism and jainism. Religion of migratory people who are the carriers of this tradition, they self identify with the people aryans or noble ones.
