Psychotic disorder due to another medical condition. Other specified schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic. Unspecified schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorder. For much of the time, level of functioning in one or more areas is below that achieved before onset of symptoms. Signs of disturbance persist for at least 6 months, including 1 month of symptoms from list. Schizoaffective disorder and depressive or bipolar disorder with psychotic features have been ruled out. Disturbance not due to effects of a substance or to another medical condition. Disorders in form or content of thought: form of thought speech. Neologisms (making up words), clanging (repeating sounds), perseveration (repeating the same words or phrases over and over again: content of thought: implausible delusions. Disorders of perception hallucinations: auditory: Commanding individual to act: tactile, somatic: Avolition: unclear sense of identity, outside control, loss of interest, will, ambivalence. Psychomotor behaviour (catatonia): social withdrawal, emotional detachment, stupor: cerea flexibilitas", excitement. Positive symptoms: disturbance, excess of normal functions.
