Has a period of time (weeks, months) in which depressive symptoms are present depressive episode. Symptoms are gone for periods of time (days, weeks, months, even years) and then come back. Sense that everything is going badly: markedly diminished interest or pleasure not in food, sex, etc. (anhedonia individual does(cid:374)"t take pleasure of thi(cid:374)gs world is very bland, significant weight loss (not dieting) or gain. Hypersomnia: the need to constantly be sleeping 16-18 hours a day: psychomotor agitation or retardation. Agitation: individual feels restless, (cid:272)a(cid:374)"t sit for too lo(cid:374)g uneasy. Retardation: not a lot of a(cid:272)ti(cid:448)ity, does(cid:374)"t do (cid:373)u(cid:272)h, stay i(cid:374) sa(cid:373)e place for long period of time: fatigue or loss of energy. Constantly feeling tired and not wanting to do anything.
