Usually starts in 20s or 30s, with high proportion in childhood or adolescence. Most common anxiety disorder among young, old. About 65% of those with disorder are female. Does not mean females are more prone to anxiety . Also females more likely to seek help for the symptoms then men are, maybe higher females because go to doctor more than male? . About 65%-75% with disorder are female; shows males less likely to get help!
