Is a cell that specializes in receiving and transmitting information. We are born with 100 to 200 billion neurons. The neurons are not responsible for the weight or development of the brain. For the quickest neural impulses is to preserve the electrical impulses by creating the myelin sheaths; efficient communication system. Malnutrition is the cause of issues with the development of myelin sheath.
