We always interpret according to our own structures. Kids are active, motivated learners easily, what we"re experiencing: goals is cognitive equilibrium what we know can explain, discomfort is caused by cognitive disequilibrium very uncomfortable state, there is no balance. This is what motivates kids to equilibrium, makes them ask and explore: equilibration relieves discomfort.
