Neurodevelopmental research can be misunderstood; media is parents. Parents are eager to encourage their children"s neurodevelopment: brain stimulation products. By throwing all these things at my child, they will become smart superstition. There is no proof that these things have an impact on brain. Iq test score of 8 or 9 points higher than the other students. We think that intelligence has a large nature element to it. Nature and nurture work together here: experience is important, but isn"t everything! By age 2, 70% of its adult weight. By age 6, 90% of its adult weight. The brain growth spurt: between the beginning of the third trimester and age 2, neurons communications, structure development of the cerebral cortex. Neurons: basic unit of the brain and nervous system, transmits information, 100-200 billion at birth we don"t really make any more, there is some neuro-generation.
