If we do something good we get a reward liker praise, if we do something bad we get punished: as long as the good is rewarded and the bad is punished, you develop as a moral actor. If pu(cid:374)ish(cid:373)e(cid:374)t is do(cid:374)(cid:859)t properly it is a good thing. If punishment is done poorly it can have detrimental effects. If the punishment is too much, the child learns i should not do this around my parent, the lesson is lost on them. If it is excessive, the child gets so caught up in this horrible embarrassing moment, they are angry.
