We learn to live morally through the use of the superego; id tells you to steal food because you"re hungry but the superego will punish you; if you have a good personality, you will listen to the superego. When rst talking about behaviour, only wanted to talk about tangible things. Moral behaviours are the result of operant conditioning experiences. Rewards and punishments (skinnerian approach) - no thinking just reacting. Process of making judgments about the rightness or wrongness of speci c acts. Depends on cognitive development - rst explored by piaget.
