If he can afford to carry on this tail, he must have really good genes to pass on to his offspring. Male voice pitch is related to attractiveness for humans. Lower voice pitch is a heritable trait - testosterone. Low voice can correlated with poor immune system & less sperm count. Men with lower voice pitch have more offspring. Key assumptions: behaviour = psychological mechanisms + input from the environment. We tend to like salty, sweet & fatty foods. We have selective preferences for these tastes.
