Introduction to psychology: psychology is challenged with solving ancient puzzles that impact everyone, we must be wary of misinformation in psychology and the world around us, ex. There is no concrete study that shows that teaching using learning styles improves learning. Evolution: we must accept that some level of our behaviours are determined by our evolutionary adaptations, ex. Why we like salty, fatty and sugar rich foods is because to our ancestors these foods were rare: our interactions with our environment are limited by our senses. The scientific method: the scientific method standardizes the process for scientific research. This process minimizes biases, conflicts, and other problems in order to promote accurate results and scientific discourse.
