Bail: would it be that big of a deal if they didn"t have a trial for a long time. Everyone is entitled to bail but there is a nancial price paid high enough to make them come back to their court day. Will not get bail if there is a danger to society, crime is suf cient severity or there is likely hood that he/she wont come back to society. !2: 2 to 3 times higher suicide rate (most common cause of death in the facilities, 100% provincial, 95% federal of these people will be released into society. Effectiveness: we know if were are talking about incapacitation they are somewhat successful by removing the dangerous people from society and put them somewhere where they cannot effect society. If we are only concerned about crime control, then it is effective in this sense.
