The movement has become a broad anti-discrimination movement focused on sexual harassment. But the intersectional origins and intersectional implications continue. 2006 foundation created for survivors of sexual trauma, events with counselling. The original me too is not the same as #metoo which represents workplace harassment. #metoo has broadened the scope of the original me too charity. Intersectionality shows that #metoo was/continues to have significant impact on culture and businesses on social media. #metoo movement is broader for it no longer focuses on survivors of trauma, but more to a significant extent to much more innocuous forms of sexual harassment so that it includes egregious assaults that may have happened. Demonstrators called for fairer investigations for accusers, share pay-equity data with employees, employee representative on the board. Workers have been organizing for months to increase diversity and improve treatment of women (reuters) Diverse culture changes the conversation and its possibilities.
