The movement has become a broad anti-discrimination movement focused on sexual harassment. The original me too is not the same as #metoo which represents workplace harassment. #metoo has broadened the scope of the original me too charity. Intersectionality shows that #metoo was/continues to have significant impact on culture and businesses on social media. #metoo movement is broader for it no longer focuses on survivors of trauma, but more to a significant extent to much more innocuous forms of sexual harassment so that it includes egregious assaults that may have happened. Demonstrators called for fairer investigations for accusers, share pay-equity data with employees, employee representative on the board.
