The study of ethics has to do with one of the downsides of being human. We have many moral choices which we have to make. Moral choices - decisions that we have to make about how to behave, such that we"re acting properly. We will have to make many decisions where it is very hard to tell if we have made the right one. Ethical decisions are supposed to help us overcome our hardest decisions, the ones we don"t know how to make. 3 different ways people may try to arrive at the proper decision about how to behave: The expressive level - unanalyzed expression of feelings which, in themselves, do not constitute any kind of justification or reason for the decision which is made o. Your feeling towards the issue, expressing an opinion: making moral decisions without thinking them through.
