Collaborative work: negotiations btwn mts and community musicians in the development of sa. Aims to provide mt to previously disadvantaged communities in cape town sa (and music. Community mt project making: predominantly focused on women and children, many of which were hiv positive. Express these emotions and manage the change they were expressing: they started at the music therapy clinic and quickly realized that they needed to reach more people than just 2 m could manage. The amount of children involved in gangsterism is immense. Therefore, music therapists thought of creating another progra(cid:373) (cid:449)ithi(cid:374) the (cid:373)usi(cid:272) therapy (cid:272)li(cid:374)i(cid:272) (cid:272)alled the (cid:862)(cid:373)usi(cid:272) for life(cid:863) progra(cid:373) Issues: poverty, unemployment, gang violence, hiv, aids, --fragmentation and disintegration of many communities. Employs 4 mts, 4community musicians, 5 projects. Music for life project (mfl) after school music activities outside of mt (reach more kids) -2007: not particularly music therapy, although the mt were running the program that they offer.
