He studied english, considered to be one of the founders/theorists of media theory/studies. Title of one of his books, he coined the term global village . He predicted the development of the internet and the web. He did a study of the historic of russian media technologies, gutenberg galaxy (the press) how the public access of literary media. Achieved the status of a rockstar in the 60"s. Speech has been abstracted into texted, it can be standardized and distributed. The recording of info that allows nation states to organize and be managed so laws and records can be distributed.
