Vessels: common carotid artery, anterior jugular vein. Vestibular space is between true and false cords. Esophageal hiatus where esophagus joins the stomach (at the diaphragm level) Esophageal sphincter keeps air entering into the esophagus. Cardiac sphincter prevent reflex from rising up into esophagus. Largest, in front of the ear, the ramus of the mandible. Empties into the mouth via second molar, stensen"s duct.
