Non-verbal communication: body language faces, arms, posture: open versus closed, appearance dress, hair style, piercing, etc, gender does it make a difference, places a role for you, or approach female/males sales person. If you"re shopping for lingerie does it depend on approaching a man or woman: eye contact versus looking away; possible meanings, sincerity, smile versus lack of expression. You want to purchase a product or service to meet your need. You may know something about that product but the merchant may know more. You expect information, advice and help in decision making.
