Time-motion study: when a worker is doing something, you would have someone behind them with stopwatch every move the person made (cid:1) (cid:1, benefits: work was more efficient, and humiliation for workers. Broad impacts: speedup of society, mainly because of automobile: basic speed at which things were made and consumed increased enormously, people more committed to growing the economy. Economic growth: amount of wealth and growth created is so big that it will outweigh the downside.
