Damage to white matter of brain (possibly right hemisphere) Visual spatial: estimation of shapes, underdeveloped visual memory. Motor: motor tactile perceptual dysfunction, impaired fine motor skills. Prevalence: 5% school kids, more males. Adhd inattentive (adhd pi) lack of attention to detail. Adhd hyperactive and impulsive (adhd phi) Treatment: stimulant medications (ritalin or adderall, psychotherapy interventions, physical activity increase dopamine, serotonin and epinephrine, side-effects, combinations of treatments. Considerations and adaptations: verbal and written instructions. Clear and concise: demonstrations, positive environment, minimize distraction. Lei tag: warm up, increase hr, blood flow. Hot dog tag: social interactions, increase social skills, concentrate on who is it, spatially of aware of who is around, increase memory of all steps. Rock paper scissors tag: memory with rules, increase social interaction teams, length increase focus. Normalizing, integrating and mainstreaming with a group of peers.
